Common questions
How do I know if my clutch is on the way out?
The classic signs are slipping under load, a biting point right at the top of the pedal, shudder when taking off, and a burning smell after hills or towing. Any of those, book it in — caught early, a clutch job stays a clutch job instead of taking the flywheel with it.
Do automatic transmissions need servicing?
Yes. Automatic transmission fluid degrades with heat and time, and worn fluid is behind a lot of rough shifting. We service manual and automatic transmissions to the manufacturer's schedule, which is far cheaper than the repair bill neglect leads to.
