Common questions
How do I know when my brakes need replacing?
Squealing, grinding or scraping when you brake, vibration through the pedal, or a pedal that feels soft or travels further than it used to are the classic signs. Any of those, book it in. We inspect the whole system and give you an honest wear report before anything is replaced.
Do I always need new rotors with new pads?
No. Rotors are replaced or machined when they're actually worn or damaged, not by default. Our brake inspection covers pads, rotors, lines and fluid, and we tell you what's genuinely worn and what isn't, so you only pay for what your car needs.
Is a brake fluid flush really necessary?
Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, which softens the pedal and hurts braking under load, so a flush is part of proper brake maintenance rather than an upsell. It's included in our full brake inspection when it's due, and we'll show you why if it is.
