Auto Electrical
Batteries, alternators and fault-finding, tracked to the source with the right gear.
A modern car is as much computer as engine. Our Clyde North workshop has the diagnostic equipment to trace an electrical fault back to its source instead of throwing parts at it and hoping.
What our auto electrical work covers
- Battery and charging-system testing
- Alternators and starter motors
- Wiring, sensors and fault-finding
- Warning-light and fault-code diagnosis
- Lighting, power windows and accessories
- Auto-electrical work across all makes and models
When to book it in
- ●The car is slow to start, or won't start at all
- ●Warning lights you can't explain
- ●Flat batteries that keep coming back
- ●Electrical bits that have stopped working
Common questions
Why does my battery keep going flat?
A battery that keeps dying usually points past the battery itself, to the charging system or a parasitic drain in the wiring. We test the battery and charging system, then trace the fault to its source with proper diagnostic gear, so you fix the cause once instead of buying batteries.
Can you find intermittent electrical faults?
Yes. Intermittent faults are exactly why we invest in diagnostic equipment: we trace wiring, sensors and fault codes back to the source rather than swapping parts and hoping. That's usually cheaper than the guesswork approach too.
Do you replace alternators and starter motors?
Yes, alternators, starter motors, batteries and the wiring between them are everyday work at our Clyde North workshop, across all makes and models, with testing first so you only replace what's actually failed.
